Tele-film "Harkiptey" will be aired at 2:40 pm. Written by Brindabon Das the film has been directed by Salahuddin Lavlu. The central character in "Harkiptey" is a penny-pincher (as the title suggests) named Nojor Ali. Though affluent, Nojor Ali doesn't like to spend money on anything. At one point he stops buying new clothes, wearing his shoes or using his umbrella (in fear of wearing them out). Things get worse when one day Nojor Ali faints. Thinking that their father is dead, his sons start preparations for his burial. However, Nojor Ali gains consciousness eventually, to find out that his family has arranged a lavish burial for him. This stress causes him to faint again. The cast includes Chanchal Chowdhury, Amirul Haque Chowdhury, Shamim Zaman, AKM Hassan and Brindabon Das.
